WFMW: page protectors

I like page protectors. I use them quite often.

When I'm in school I use a page protector to hold my class syllabus and any other imprtant pieces of paper for my class.

I've put pictures in page protectors so that I can put them on my bulliten board without punching holes on them.

We use them at work all the time as a make-shift white erase board. It works exceptionally well. We use it a lot for tracing, placing the sheet on the inside of the page protector and having the kids trace over the top. It works much better than laminating because for some reason the ink seems to stay in the lamination. It doesn't seem to stain the page protector.
I know people who print out their recipes and place them in sheet protectors in a binder. That way when they cook they don't have to worry about keeping the book open and they don't have to worry about their recipes being ruined.

So, tell me, what do you use page protectors for?

  1. Whenever we travel I place the map (if I mapquest it) all our hotel information/ flight info/ copies of passports etc. in one. Keeps it all together.

  5. I have several 'household' binders. One of my favorites is for storing paid bills. Each group goes into one page protector, with the most recent one at the front. For instance, all my Sears card bills go into one sleeve.
It makes them a lot easier to keep track of!

  6. I have a bill notebook, too, with a page protector for each paid bill. Works great.

  7. I love the paid bills and having each bill in it's own sleeve. Great idea!

  8. Tips and recipes that I tear out of magazines go in my page protectors. That way I can de-clutter by giving away the magazines.

  9. Oh, that is such a good idea! I usually find at least one thing I love about a magazine, idea, or an article, but HATE having stacks of old magazines laying around. Thanks for the great idea!
